DIRECT CREMATION SERVICE
Choose a simple funeral cremation service without a traditional formal gathering.
Direct cremations are an increasingly popular choice with people who want to respect the wishes of the person who’s died by “keeping things simple.”
With a direct cremattion, we will take of, prepare and escort the person who’s died to the crematorium, but there is no attended funeral service.
WHAT IS A DIRECT CREMATION SERVICE?
A direct cremation service provides you with the option of having a cremation funeral service that’s stripped back to its core essentials.
The person who’s died still recieves our characteristic level of care and respect. We will prepare them for cremation, keep them safe in our peaceful Hartshil funeral home, and respectfully escort them to the crematorium.
However, there are a number of differences; most notably, there is no attended funeral service. This means that a direct cremation often costs significantly less than a traditional cremation or burial service.
Whatever your reason for considering a direct cremation, we’ll chat through all the options together to ensure you’re making the right decision for you.
